Thanks to the knowledge developed in the automotive sector as regards to emissions control, and to the experience made in the field with the R750EU4 engine family, VM Motori is able to offer an updated new range of diesel engines with common-rail system for industrial applications with emissions certified EURO 5 Heavy Duty - thanks to the use of EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) and CSF (Catalyst Soot Filter) but without using urea - for mobile on-road machinery such as 4-wheel-drive trucks, multi-purpose vehicles, road sweepers etc., and emissions certified Stage 3B for non-road mobile machineries.
Our EURO5 engines are also certified according to the EEV (Enhanced Environmentally Friendly Vehicles) as per 2005/55/EC more restrictive in regards to HC and smoke; these engines offer high reliability and durability, smooth and regular running, taking advantage of the renown characteristics of the Series D 750 as the side PTO and optional balancing shaft. |
