For the second year in a row VM confirms the positive trend with asales turnover increase of 36% compared to the previous year. The growth is due to the launch of the all new V6 3.0L engine for the Grand Cherokee and LanciaThema sold in the European market, which received excellent feedback from the press and from the end users, and the new 2.8L Euro 5 engine installed on Jeep Wrangler and Lancia Voyager. The company with more than 1100 employees, forecasts to invest in Research and Development more than 13% of its turnover. Current plan for 2012 is to continue the positive trend and with the likely opening of the Nafta market, which seems to be more receptive for diesel powertrains than in the past, an additional significant increase of sales is forecasted.
