Past vehicles
VM began supplying engines for automotive use in 1979 when the petrol market showed signs of being in difficulty and a more economic alternative to the traditional petrol engine had to be found.
Our powerful, clean, turbocharged, indirect injection engine was soon adopted by the European market. The very first vehicle to be fitted with a VM diesel engine was the Alfa Romeo Alfetta.
